Bata Urban Power Grid Expansion and Renovation in Equatorial Guinea

Bata Urban Power Grid Expansion and Renovation Project is located in Bata City, the largest city of Equatorial Guinea. It consists of the urban distribution network and the household access, which is designed to fully make use of the power generated by Djibloho Hydropower Project, improve the power supply quality of the city and upgrade the level of power consumption. The Project was implemented in two phases, covering an urban area of 95 km2, which includes three new 110 kV substations, renovation and expansion of a 220 kV substation and a 110 kV substation, a new dispatching center, construction of 110 kV transmission lines, 20 kV medium-voltage lines and low-voltage lines, 204 outdoor preassembled substations and switchyards, power supply to 107,270 households, and lighting of main streets.

The transmission lines include double circuit lines and single circuit lines.
