Zhanhe River Comprehensive Management Project is located in Pingdingshan City of Henan Province. The construction involves pollution interception, river regulation, landscaping, water diversion and ponding, and other ancillary structures. The full collection and treatment of wastewater are realized within 207 km² of the city. The green ecological corridor, 52 landscape nodes and 3 parks along the Zhanhe River are completed, where sponge city and waterfront landscape design are integrated. The Project won the first prize for excellent investigation and design innovation of Henan Province.
