YREC is responsible for construction supervision and consulting services of the Project. The upper reservoir has an active storage capacity of 6.62 million m³, and the reinforced concrete face rockfill dam has a maximum height of 133 m. For the lower reservoir, the concrete face rockfill dam has a maximum height of 69 m. The power station is equipped with 4 sets of 300 MW reversible turbine generating units with total installed capacity of 1,200 MW. Under the power generation condition, the rated flow of a single unit is 71.6 m³/s, and the rated head is 484 m. Under the pumping condition with minimum lift of 466 m, the rated flow of a single unit is 61.5 m³/s. The construction of the Project was started in April 2016, and will be completed in January 2026.
