The Project is the first deep-buried water delivery tunnel project in Shenzhen City to supply raw water from Xili Reservoir to Nanshan Water Plant and its expansion works. The design water conveyance capacity is 1.3 million tons per day. The main structures include water intake tower, vertical shaft, lifting pump station, and 5.26 km long steel-lined deep-buried tunnel, which is bored by an open-type TBM. The Project encounters complex boundary conditions with its route crossing 14 existing facilities of subway, highway, railway, electric facilities, etc. and 11 planned structures. YREC has provided the life-cycle engineering consulting services for the project. With the concept of creating a “safe, high-quality, ecological, efficient and intelligent” project, a BIM-based management and organization platform has been established led by the consultant and participated by all construction parties to provide management and consulting services in the early stage and the construction stage, and provide technical support for the smooth implementation of the Project.
