YREC’s business on municipal infrastructure covers design services of urban systems, including the design, consulting and research of river (lake and reservoir) water taking, transfer, purification and distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment, as well as urban roads, bridges, underpasses, integrated pipeline corridors, electrical, communication and electric power.

In recent years, a large number of water supply projects, municipal roads, integrated pipeline corridors, and bridge and tunnel projects have been completed including Lanzhou Water Source Construction Project (EPC), Chongqing Niutouyan Water Supply Project, Hainan Wuzhishan City Water Supply Project, Sudan Gadaref City Water Supply Project, Hainan Wuzhishan City Wastewater Treatment Plant, Tongbai County Sewer Network Reconstruction, Xi’an City Huyi Tianqiaohu Sewage Treatment Plant, Kuwait South al-Mutlaa Residential Infrastructure Construction Project, surveying and design of 230 roads in Zhengzhou City, Foshan Shunde District Wendeng Road Reconstruction Project; Longqu Bridge at Hanghai East Road, Xuchang Yinma River Landscape Bridge.

YREC has mastered the core technologies including modeling and calculation of large-scale water transfer and distribution systems, design of large and medium-sized rain & waste water pump stations, conventional and advanced treatment of raw water, physical & chemical + ecological treatment of wastewater, restoration of aquatic ecosystems, Sponge City scheme, as well as design of landscape bridges, treatment of ultra-thick miscellaneous fill site and application of GFRP structures.
