The extension infrastructure is connected with the trunk line of the Middle Route South-to-North Water Diversion Project in Henan Province, and supplies water to 74 water plants in 11 cities and 32 counties of Henan Province. The extension facilities include water pipelines of about 963 km, water canals of 15.45 km, 17 pump stations and 2 gate sluices.

The automated dispatching system is established with the water data center, which is gradually upgraded to be a standardized and open smart water management system with service windows, and the capability in water dispatching will be comprehensively improved, and project benefits maximized.
