The total water supply capacity for Wuhai Low Carbon Industrial Park is 417,000 tons/day, including a rivershore water intake pump station, a water treatment plant, a water distribution plant, and 47 km raw water and clean water pipelines. The capacity of phase I is 116,000 tons/day, and the land area is about 0.15 km². The water treatment plant is composed of water delivery pump house, clear water tank, mechanical stirring clarifier, chemical dosing room, settling tank, etc. YREC Consultant carried out the in-depth research on the intaking and treatment technologies of the Yellow River water with high sediment content, and adopted the dewatering-effluent recovery techniques and solved the key problems of sediment precipitation, transportation and treatment as well as the concern of abrasive erosion of pumps. The treated water is supplied to the industrial park and meets the production requirements.
