The artificial wetland park is located in CBD of Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City of Henan Province. The wetland covers an area of 40,000 m², where the water from Ruyi Lake is treated with a quantity of 10,000 m³ per day. The Project consists of constructed wetland, water supply and drainage pipelines, central control system, greenhouse and power distribution system. Water purification is mainly achieved through aeration basins, biological ponds and gravel beds, so that the water quality of Ruyi Lake can be kept as surface water Class III. The wetland park enables recycling of water and saves more than 3 million m³ of water every year. It is the national education base for water conservation entitled by the Ministry of Water Resources.
