Minghu Substation 220 kV is located in Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City of Guizhou Province, which is the first 220 kV indoor GIS intelligent substation of China Southern Power Grid. For this phase, one 240 MVA main transformer of 220/110/10 kV was installed. The Substation has become an important power supply hub in the region, which will facilitate the growth of loads in Liupanshui City, improve the grid structure and enhance the reliability of power supply. China Power Quality Project was awarded to honor the achievement.
