Lower Stung Russei Chrum Hydropower Station is located in Koh Kong Province of Cambodia, about 180 km west of Phnom Penh. It is composed of the upper and lower power stations with a total installed capacity of 338 MW. The transmission route extends in low mountains and gorges, with lush primitive forests. The transmission lines designed by YREC start from the 230 kV switchyard of the upper power station, and end at the line tower S9 of Ousaom Substation. The total length of the transmission lines, include double circuit lines and single circuit lines.
